Back in the Day
Barber Marvin Weaver opened Grove Street Barbershop in 1960 and later passed the chair to Harry Hunt, who served Wellesley for 40 years. Rich Chiapperini carried on the tradition until June 2016, when Kelly T took her place behind the chair and became the first woman to own a barbershop in Wellesley. The names behind the chair have changed, but the tradition of a great cut and a warm welcome lives on at 33 Grove.
